El transceptor SFP+ Dell™ ofrece conectividad de fibra para ampliar el alcance de su red. Este transceptor conectable en caliente con espacio SFP+ (conectable de diseño compacto) cuenta con un conector LC dúplex. El transceptor 10GBase-LR SFP+ para redes de Dell proporciona conectividad 10GbE para una distancia máxima de 10 km.

Además, proporciona una interfaz de control de diagnóstico digital exclusiva y mejorada que permite el acceso en tiempo real a los parámetros de funcionamiento del dispositivo, como la temperatura, la corriente de polarización de láser, la energía óptica transmitida, la energía óptica recibida y el voltaje de alimentación del transceptor.
